Claire Willeford-Carrillo is a native of Washington state who has lived in several different areas of the US and is now happy to be raising her family in Kitsap County. She holds a BA in sociology and anthropology and a Master of Public Health degree, and her past professional experience includes direct social service delivery and health research in the areas of maternal-child health, immigrant health, and the criminal justice system. Claire’s first exposure to work within the judicial system was as an advocate for victims of family violence in Atlanta, GA, later leading to training as a court interpreter. Her favorite part of her job is listening to her clients’ stories and working to understand their personal needs and challenges. She has many years’ experience as a translator, and she is able to serve our clients in Spanish and French.
