Meet Brandon Miller

There, buried in the medical records or police reports, perhaps muted by anxiety or tears, is a story. At the heart of every case – even the humble traffic infractions – there’s a tale to be told. And, often, there are injustices that must be addressed.
I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of matters, from multimillion-dollar deals for Fortune 500 companies to sentencing mitigation for clients with mental health issues. I’ve met with clients in boardrooms and jail cells, discussed trial strategy in my clients’ homes and while out walking dogs with them. Where I’ve really found my calling, however, is in the courtroom seeking justice for the injured and accused, who are often facing the weight and resources of corporate or governmental institutions.
Courtrooms are places where we gather to tell stories that matter. But my work isn’t just about story telling; it’s about knowing the law and applying those laws in a just way. It’s about executing a well-considered strategy and about guts and the courage to hold institutions and wrongdoers accountable. What I find most exhilarating about the practice of law is the opportunity to assist my clients in telling their stories in the forums where we come in search of justice. In trial, we address our communities and tell stories of overcoming obstacles and odds, of right and wrong, and I live for it.
I try to approach my work with authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and humility because I’m at my best when I’m myself. I am a trial lawyer and I’m proud of it. This work is a calling and it’s one that I’m well-suited to. I seek justice for my clients and I’m zealous about it. I obsess over it, breathe it, love it.
When I’m not thinking about trial, I’m engaged in the joyful and occasionally confounding experience of raising two kids. On my phone’s photo-reel, you’d find thousands of pictures of my dog and frequent work companion, Weston, who demands that we spend every moment I can spare running or hiking together every season, no matter the light, and always in spite of the weather. Although my professional calling necessarily involves conflict in the arena of the courtroom, I’m blessed to live a life where I laugh nearly every day, surrounded by water, rocky shorelines, and dense forests.
If you have been harmed by the negligent actions of another or you have been accused of a crime, please reach out so we can discuss whether I can be of service.
